Poem: Colors

This color rhymes with you

and it’s on the sky

this color is tight

it could even get you to fight.

People calling you names

and if you not from the same color gang

you don’t got game

man it’s a shame

because at the end

we are all the same.

This color could kill you

and it could never let you see

the real you.

You don’t know what you feel

but you have to keep it real

in other to not get killed.

But at the end it’s just a game.

Poem: American Ride

American Ride

This is the ride

the ride that takes time .

time can fly, fly by

lets let this ride be

the ride of our life

to Neverland

cause the ride will fly by

and you will see

see stuff that you have never seen

so let this ride fly

to Neverland.

Poem: Gunshots

Gunshots

Gun shots are going off down the street
I ran down the street with my Gun
to see what had happened.

My friend was holding someone and
when I got closer
I saw that it was his girlfriend.

He was bloody for holding her
We was all sad because she was your friend
I was calming him down because he wanted to seek revenge

She looked nice but now she is gone
Three days later we put her to rest.
Me and my friends stayed with him
so he didn’t go seek revenge.

Poem: My Love Jane

“My love Jane”

I woke up one day with nada to do,

So I got out my note book and started writing about you.

I love this girl her last name is Jane,

I love her so much she’s always in my brain.

She gots me flying high like a freaking plain.

When I step outside late at night she gives me a kiss and I could feel it inside.

When I think about you I go crazy

When I hang out with you all I get lazy.

I love my girl Jane,

And to prove my love I’ll even get tatted up your name.

My love Jane.

Poem: Freedom

Freedom

Freedom is the condition of being free

Freedom is the board beneath your feet,

The sand between your toes,

Freedom is voting,

Watching the sunset,

Sticking your head out the window feeling the breeze,

Freedom is sitting on your best horse,

Looking at nature, relaxing

What’s your freedom?

Poem: Gun

Gun

The feel of the cold metal on my side sends shivers up my spine.
Will I take someone else’s life or will I just risk mine.
Is it the fear of life or just the fear of death?
Who am I to decide the fate of a man’s life?
Who is he to decide mine?
As I stare down the barrel I thick?
Who am I?
What have I done?

Poem: Love?

“Love?”

At times love could hold you back
like your in a cell with cold metal bars
holding you back from your freedom and dreams

you feel like leaving
but you don’t want to break another heart
that loves you passionately,

I can’t figure out what to say,
cause I love to do things
that she won’t let me do

so I’m asking you to give back my freedoms
cause I still got my dreams
and I’ll always love you

Poem: Peace

What is peace?

Peace is old. Peace is new

Peace is love peace is hate

Peace is clean. Peace is green

Peace is you. peace is me

Peace is the time. Peace is mine

Peace. Is a way of life.

Peace is a way of death

Peace is fake peace is real

All around the world peace

Peace everywhere.

Poem: Life

Life

Life is like a hard game
no one can’t get through life with out getting into trouble
sometimes it’s about love
and being with someone who you love and who is good for
you and who will be
there for you and not leave you behind them and
sometimes life is about fighting a against the law
with some people and it’s about being with their family and friends
and life is about making the right choice
to get through life if now what to do in life.
Home girl and home boy

Poem: What I love of you

What I love of you

I love your lips and your beautiful eyes.
I love your voice,
I like the way you smile.
I love the way you are,
you’re the best girl I have ever met!
I don’t know you that well.
But seems the first day I met you,
I can’t stop thinking and dreaming of you!
And when I first saw you,
I said to myself wow
this is my angel
you are my baby girl!
I like the way you dress
I love you, you’re the best
I love the way you talk to me well sometimes,
and I love the fact that we look at each other,
and then we smile at each other after words.
I like your hair, and I love your beautiful soft skin.
But the most of all, is the you I see every day!

Poem: Rotted Corps

ROTTED CORPS

There were rotted bones
Skulls not toads, dead people
With pointed teeth gone for ever
With their chicken liver, bone of death
With some pointed claws not paws, weirded
Eyes with disaster of faith posters of death not
Living rotting corps smoked corps like smoking some
Ports.

Poem: The Goat and His Boat

The goat and his boat

There once was a goat that had a boat
Then one day he saw a cat
He asked the cat do you want to ride in my boat
The cat said only if you play with me and Mr. Bat.
So off they went into the sea
Then they saw a shark that likes to bark.
The shark said hi my name’s Mr. Dee
Then a huge wave hit
They all went overboard
And then Dee ate all of them.

Poem: Live, Love, Laugh

Poem: Letters to Prison

Letters to Prison

I don’t want to write you.
I don’t know what to say.
You’re a loser.
I’m so disappointed in you.

I can’t write that.

What he wants to hear is:
I believe in you.
Which I don’t.
Everything will be fine.
Which it won’t.

You will never be okay.
How can I write that?
I can’t, so I won’t.

Sometimes we want to hear the lies.
Sometimes we don’t want the truth.

So, I’ll write:

Dear Jesse,

I don’t know what to say.

~Lesli

But, that is still a lie.
