Poem: Thinking

Thinking

I’m stuck, can’t move,
But I always seem to go back,
Sobriety conceives me.

Because of a balloon of black,
I ran, got stuck,
Now there’s no turning back.

Seems as if these ways,
Have taken over,
Now just give ‘em back.

Why can’t I just be me?
What do they want?

Haiku

America

Nation under god,
Land of the home and the free,
The red, white, and blue

Haiku

Cowboys

Spurs and Chaps, Tight Jeans
Bulldogging and roping calves,
Rednecks we ride long

Poem: Ready to Ride

Ready To Ride

Crap on my boots
Callous on my hands
Got my shirt tucked
My cowboy hat
Revolver on my waist
Ready to draw

Wild buckskin under my legs
Lariat on the side
Spurs on my boots
Ready to Rope

Poem: Freedom

Freedom

Freedom is the condition of being free

Freedom is the board beneath your feet,

The sand between your toes,

Freedom is voting,

Watching the sunset,

Sticking your head out the window feeling the breeze,

Freedom is sitting on your best horse,

Looking at nature, relaxing

What’s your freedom?

“Mornings seemed mysterious gifts” pg 33 Whirligig

I think that Brent needs to make restitution in the morning and be more productive.

I personally love this quote because it can mean anything that you pretty much want. Yes, the mornings always lead my day a good way. I think that in the morning you are more aware of your surroundings.
I am an early bird ,I love to wake up early and explore new things when nobody is around. I believe that when the sun comes up its time to get up and work but I hate wasting time laying around.
