While I’m sitting in this cell
it feels like hell,
I can’t even make bail.
I don’t even get mail,
I have a son, I know he is looking for mom while I’m gone,
but I will hold strong,
and mommas sorry for being a bad mom.
You come in with a big smile for mommas trial
and the judge looks at her file and your sol says no but the judge said sorry kid but momma goats to go.
I guess what I meant to say sorry son for being gone
and for not being a good mom.
I’m doing cool so I could get out and walk you to school.
They might only give me two more years
but I will be good to stop your tears.

Josefina, that was so deep and sincere! I almost had teary eyes. You will do good and get to walk your son to school. It's good for you to realize that he's your number one priority. See, that's being a good mom!
